Something strange is happening to Jimmy James. He can’t seem to satisfy his hunger or thirst and always feels irritable and dizzy. Jimmy tries to ignore these awful feelings and concentrate on gaining weight for his junior-high wrestling team. But to his surprise he keeps losing weight and continues to feel strange, until the day he collapses and is rushed to the hospital. Together with his family and girl friend, Margaret, he must cope with the fact that he has diabetes. Could that prevent him from joining the wrestling team? Will Jimmy have to give up his dreams?
